Job description
Position: ICT SUPERVISOR APPLICATION SUPPORT - LS03302 (1 Position)
Location: Nairobi
Contract: Permanent
Main Purpose
Reporting to Business Application Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for Executing the maintenance, follow-up and monitoring of all IT and Telecom equipment, tools Design, develop, maintain and monitor of all IT, tools/application and services, as well as ensuring onsite technical support and training of users under his/her responsibility in accordance with MSF standards, policies, protocols and procedures, in order to guarantee the efficient use of all IT application and Telecom services and infrastructure
Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance, upgrade and user support of all new and existing automation tools developed for Kenya Office (KO) including to input specific data and contents for the online tools, where and when necessary
- Responsible for management and upgrade of the KO website in collaboration with the ICT HQ team to ensure the website is functional and input specific data contents for the online tools, where and when necessary
- Responsible for data security and encryptions for all KO websites, tools, systems.
- Ensure correct and secure IT and data protocols are observed as per the Data Protection Act and MSF standards
- Oversee management of different programming projects throughout their code development process, testing and implementation, providing an overview and regular updates of the projects, while supporting the project teams to ensure MSF standards are followed.
- Provide day-to-day support for ERP systems and mobile applications, troubleshooting functional, technical, and user-related issues across business units.
- Monitor system integrations and mobile app performance, ensuring data accuracy between ERP modules and mobile platforms.
- Log, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs, coordinating with developers, vendors, and third-party support when needed.
- Support ERP configurations, patches, upgrades, and mobile app releases, including testing and validation before deployment.
- Create and maintain support documentation, user guides, knowledge base articles, and assist users with ERP processes and mobile app usage.
- Prepare detailed system/technical guidelines for the developer on the tools/app developed by KO for the HQ ICT as backup measurement
- Assists with other data processing or related tasks as required, identifying any problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
Requirements
Education | · Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma Information Communication Technology or its equivalent |
Experience | · 2 years of proven experience in similar capacity; · Experience in ICT and data software usage |
Languages | · Fluent in English and Kiswahili essential |
Knowledge | · Working knowledge in Python, SQL, Flutter/ cross platform mobile apps development, Javascript, NextJS, React or Angular, HTML/CSS, jQuery, XML, Java, Node.js, , Power Apps, MS SharePoint & MS Automate, Open ERP/Odoo, Dashboards, MS Azure, Linux OS, Windows OS |
